Though sad as it was on Jan 2,2016, it is spiritually inspiring to know that you accomplished all of what the Lord assigned you on earth , with love, respect, grace, dignity and unbridled humanity. Your spirit lives within our hearts.

Woah…8 years. Can’t believe how time flies by so fast…but yeah that’s when you left us. Still pained by it but God has his reasons right? Well grandpa I believe I’m growing beautifully if you want to know…and that’s a big thanks to you. Will come lay a flower for you in person whenever I do get the chance. Dear Dad,
Remembering you and Mum on your seven-year anniversary. I pray that you both continue to rest in eternal peace. We had both a loss and a new family addition this year. Asuma passed away in April and we went to Bole for his funeral. On a happier note, you became great-grandparents, her name is Salamatu, Adizah’s daughter. I wish you were both here to enjoy her calm and disarming smile just like you, Dad.

How can I forget how much of a wonderful person you were while on earth? It’s been 6 years and 4 months. I may be late in making a tribute but never in a single day have I not thought about you and how much of a great impact you had in my life. Your advices, even though I was little. I woke up today and went into your room and laid on your bed and thought about our last days together. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share jokes and wish you a proper farewell. You and mum will always be in my heart.

Its been three years, but its seems like yesterday when you left this earth. We know you are resting peacefully in the Arms of the Almighty God. You are gone but not forgetting. Rest on.

Uncle, I have missed my long chats wirh you and your geniune paternal concern for my well being. You were someone I could trust and you reciprocated that trust. I miss your friendship and honest counsel. Gonja has lost a true gem at a time when we needed you most. Our corrupted values prevented us from fully appreciating your full worth. Now there are many that wish we had that fine gallant and dignified man on whose word we could rely.

An amazing Gentleman who was full of wisdom and as a member of the board of Gridco, often advised on how to make the Ghana Grid Company an excellent company. Even at his advanced age, he always read through board papers and was always ready for boardroom deliberations!!! I admired his sharpness and I remember one thing, he always insisted on saying prayers before and at the end of board meetings!!!! Chief we truly miss you and that wonderful laughter!!!! Mr Daniel Wale Yahaya was a very decent man. He was an exception in a society where self seeking and dishonesty is the order of the day. He always conducted himself honorably and showed great compassion and consideration for others. He consulted and took counsel even from people young enough to be his children. I admired and loved him. He is missed by many includung myself. May God grant his soul a place within His presence so that my beloved uncle joins the worthy ones that forever provide us light for guidance. Amen
