First, my Sincerest and Deepest Condolences to James and Nathan Cooper and Family. To My Deborah…what can I say…My God!! I remember back in 1988, I was so unsure about joining the choir, Judah. The moment I decided I would wait to join, you placed my own personalized music book and Judah Badge into my hands!!! God called me, and when that happened - that “Deborah look” of yours said, “You’re not going anywhere!!” LOL!! You have taught me so much about ANOINTED Worship and Praise. The anointing of God just OOZES from your presence just standing next to you. You can sense and feel the reverential awe you have for the Lord. I’m going to miss singing with you Deborah. We stood side-by-side together for 30 years leading worship. We laughed together, we literally had moments of “cracking up” hysterically with each other right on the platform! LOL!!! Thank you for all your words of encouragement, exhortation and most of all your LOVE you have “seared” into my heart. You have sown into my life ALL of yourself. I’m gonna miss your voice. Your smile. Your embrace. Your cooking; especially your authentic hot-sauce fried chicken and Peach/Apple cobbler! But most of all, I will miss your steadfastness in being seriously firm and caring beyond measure. And, “No worries” Deborah…I will sing unto the Lord NOW, FOREVER and ETERNALLY… Trust me Deborah,..I WON’T drop the mic!
I Love You Eternally, Sandra Ward.
