We lite a candle as we recalled the many good times we had sharing the past 7 years with you. Many fun times ranging from weekly watching Seattle Seahawks, golfing to sharing vacations together. You continue to be missed, good buddy. Your stories are legendary.

Dennis was a major factor in our purchasing a home in Green Valley. He was always available with a helping hand and with his knowledge of the landscape. Betty Ann will always remember him stopping by with his daily catch of snakes to show. I will certainly miss his competitive spirit on the golf course especially when he had to pay a few dollars. I still have an envelope somewhere with his losses. We both will miss his contagious smile and wit.

We echo the thoughts from Kelly and Sandy as we always enjoyed our visits in the morning across the street. Dennis was always there to help--in fact he and Pat Pitrello were two of our first contacts on Mountain Stone to help us move in and set up furniture. Our thoughts are with you Shar...we will see you this fall.

Sharlene, my thoughts & prayers are with you at this time. I know Dennis is up there judging rituals with Bob enjoying every minute. And golfing a good game with David. He was such a sweet man. Always jolly with hugs. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Everyone should make people realize life can be so good with the love of his life.....Sharlene. I remember how happy Bob & I were when the two of you got married. You were made for each other.God bless you Sharlene. May God wrap his loving arms around Dennis. XOXO

Dennis was a great friend, golfing buddy and co-worker. Dennis and I worked together for about 16 years. During that time we became friends and golfing buddies. His work ethics were impeccable and he had only two speeds “go or no go”. He was like a bull in a china shop but whatever I wanted done, I knew I could count on him to “get er done”. You will be missed Denny!

Denny was one of those people you instantly liked. When we went to GV the first time Denny and Shar made us feel so welcomed and part of the GV "family". I will never forget the time I gave him and Shar a jar of my b&b pickles...Denny looked at me and said only 1? Denny's warm hugs and big smiles will be truly missed. Mark & Ruby

Dennis was one of those people that always made you feel good. Always smiling, joking and having a good time. Will never forget that we had to travel to Hawaii to finally go to dinner with him and Shar. Such a great time we had there with many good laughs. You are greatly missed, Dennis!

As everyone else said, Dennis was a very special friend who will be missed terribly. Has anyone thought of getting a bench in his memory at Haven? - Lee and Carol

To a wonderful man we met on a cruise from Sydney to Hawaii in 2013 who we spent many hours at the bar with & enjoyed his fun loving personality. Our thoughts & prayers are with you Shar & your family & friends. From two Aussies who crossed paths with Dennis on a holiday!

Dennis ! Dennis ! Dennis ! You were the BEST !!! The warmest, most carrying & thoughtful Friend !
Your love of Shar carried through your always big smile.
Even during your health issues you had that special twinkle that could make even the sternest of us smile !
In 2006 on our first visit to Arizona I went to Haven looking to play a round, the starter called out “the Cole group has an opening” and thus a special friendship began. After that round I went home and told Sandy, “ This is it, we’re coming back here” I wish we had told Dennis (and Tony) how much they caused us to buy a 2nd home in Green Valley !
Dennis & Shar you will always be in our hearts ! And thank you Shar for sharing your “Big Teddy Bear” with us !

In the years that Dennis and I worked together on GV Fire Corps I learned what a giving person he was. In the neighborhood he was always there to help anybody. It was a real positive experience in knowing him. God Bless, Dennis

Dennis was one of those special people who made returning to GV each winter a real joy. He had such a great sense of humour and quick smile. And he and Shar were the best of hosts. I'll miss him a lot.

Memories of the humor and friendship Dennis always had helps each day. He was great with numbers and playing bridge and is now creating a different bridge for all of us to follow to Heaven.

In only a few short visits to GV Jil and I soon found out what a special friend we had in Dennis. His sense of humor had no bounds. He had the ability to make our infant orange tree produce oranges, grapefruit and coins. There is now an orange in heaven we call the 'Denny Delicious'. One of a kind!

We will miss Dennis' smiling face as he waited patiently outside in the morning alongside his golf clubs for his golf crew to come and pick him up. We also enjoyed watching him occasionally with his battery powered tricycle going up and down the street. What a contraption that was! Dennis was a good friend, neighbor, and fellow patriot who you could always count on and he is missed.

Shar received this message from Dennis' cousin: "He was a wonderful guy. Growing up, my siblings and I looked forward to his visits to Montana, he always had the cool cars! At times like these we are reminded how fragile life truly is. We need to remember to constantly tell those we care about "I Love You" because tomorrow may be too late.
