Carole, I'm so sorry for your loss. Dick was a wonderful man who was always friendly, kind, professional and helpful if you needed anything. I enjoyed running into him here and there in my real estate world. He was always a ray of sunshine and such a gem.

I met Dick in 1988, when I first started working in Rancho Santa Fe real estate, and a nicer, more generous and genuine man would be difficult to find. He and I spent many a caravan swapping stories and tips, along with career advice and guidance. He's one of the reasons I work on the Professional Standards board on Ethics hearings. He was always a joy to be around, and would always greet me with a warm and cheerful hello. What a wonderful smile, what a wonderful man.

Such a lovely man. Will always remember his incredible smile and pure joy. Carole so sorry for your loss. What a gentleman your groom... Dick was among the best in the business .. always fair, kind and a sheer delight to work with. He will be missed by his friends and family & by the entire community. I'll miss running into you both at the post office or grocery store and Dick "trying to stay out of trouble" greeting with that sweet smile of his. Gosh how he loved his family. You're all in our thoughts & prayers.

There are truly no words to express the deep love and affection that I have for my father. I will simply say that he lit up my life with joy and laughter. His greatest gift was how he lead by example, teaching us all about compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love. I am forever grateful, I love you Dad.

The joy with which Dick moved through life was an inspiration. A sharp whit and a man of the people, he brought smiles to both friends and soon-to-be-friends alike. He welcomed me into his family and I will forever be grateful.
