What a real gentleman we have lost he did so much for the motor home community He will be sadly missed by all who knew him or ever had the chance to personally meet him . Our condolences to Erica and his family He will never be forgotten through the legacy he has left us all

The Committee and all the members of the Mount Lofty Bushies would like to offer our condolences to Erica,your family and friends on the sad passing of Don on Monday 9 March 2015.

We felt a great sense of loss when we heard of his passing on Monday.          

We will remember Don as a vibrant founding member of the CMCA whose love of travelling with friends, grew to the forming of the CMCA with 100 chapters Australia wide since its inception in 1986.

His early vision for future travel in Campervans, Motorhomes and
Caravans expanded over the years with the formation of chapters which
grew to be the large family it is today, travelling the highways and byways of Australia.

Don’s legacy will live on through The Chapters, The Wanderer, The CMCA Website, the Rallies, the happy hours and the thousands of members who travel around our country together, enjoying the freedom of the open road, camping together and sharing the stories of their journeys around the campfire at the end of the day.

"Vale Don", and happy travelling on the highways throughout eternity.

We didn't know Don, but we'll be forever grateful to he and his wife for setting up CMCA for all of us members or not who are on the road travelling and all that makes it more enjoyable & comfortable. RIP

It is with sadness that we the Gin Gin Gypsies pass on our condolences to Erica and her family.
Being one of the youngest babies (chapter 99) we did not get to know our father real well but he will still be missed as we grow without his personal guidance.

Our deepest sympathy to the family, we had the distinguished pleasure of meeting Don many years ago. We remember the way in which he had this glow about him as he explained all of what he was doing with the CMCA. We knew immediately he was a doer and and a damn good one not just a sprooker. To Erica and the rest of his family our hearts go out to you at this time. Be thankful of the life he led and remember all those countless good times he provided. Kindest regards
