Ed was a good man. He was married to my Mother, Faith, for a few years. Then they decided it was better to be friends than to be married. They talked on the phone almost every day. They often did the crossword puzzle on the phone. He was very supportive of Faith when she was in Hospice the last two weeks of her life. After she passed, I sent him birthday cards and we exchanged Christmas cards. I know he was very proud of his grandchildren. Rachel is the only one I know because of our connection to Northmont.  My sympathy to the family.  Pat Burnside

Quite simply he was a sweet and good man. Whenever I was around him I couldn't help but smile. He radiated such a sense of calmness. He will be missed.
