It is with great sadness, the family of Elaine Michelle Joseph (Stokes) share her passing on February 1, 2022 after a long illness. She resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was 53 years young.
Elaine loved gymnastics, taking some instruction in her younger years but her “true” love was music and art. She relocated to Florida, loving the warmer weather. Once in Florida she became involved in establishing Artblend Gallery alongside her husband. They were a sensational “team”! With Elaine as Executive Director and Michael as the Producer, the duo established an exciting business fueled by Elaine’s love of art. It was Elaine managing Michael’s photography career that made Artblend a reality.
Elaine was passionate about being involved with the Toys for Tots organization and, along with Michael, hosted the local Fort Lauderdale drive for several years. It always culminated with a festive Winter Holiday Party at the Artblend Gallery.

Your card was found at Calvary Chapel Sebastian in the memorial garden located at the side of the church. Your card is being laminated, front and back, placed in a frame to be shared with others who visit their loved ones in the garden. I have never seen this type of tribute to a loved one and want to display it for others who feel the need to leave the same trail of heart felt traceable love. Rest in peace pretty lady!

A truly missed friend. God is good and good all the time. He knew that heaven needed your service and beautiful smile there with Him. Some day we will see you again on the other side with the Lord. As I’m walking in Saint Augustine Florida I came upon a sitting stone with the name of James T Costner and Lying on it was two memory cards of Elaine Michelle Joseph. I pray she left this earth doing what she loved and loved the people that were close to her I pray for the family that they have eternal peace knowing she’s in heaven with our Heavenly Father. She love the thing same things I did nature animals art and music she was absolutely beautiful. May she be dancing in heaven with angels.

Knowing your loss from my similar experience, sharing our similar and enlightening experiences through extended conversation, I believe she is with you in this moment and will be always. Her passing was a tremendous loss but, if I may say so, an opening for Michael Joseph to expand and triumph on your gifts and abilities beyond all you accomplished together.

I found her memorial card on top of Talcott Mountain in CT, on a huge rock. I read about her then came online to read more. Seems like she was a very special person and I'm sorry for her family and friends loss.

The love and respect Elaine and Michael had for each other was evident to all who worked with them. Elaine was a beautiful woman, hard working, professional and correct in all her dealings. I only knew her professionally, but every so often she showed her mischievous smile and I got a glimpse of the fun personality behind her business side. I am so sorry for her loss. Gone too soon, she will be missed by all who loved her.

I was so sad and sorry to read the email about Elaine’s passing. I know how close you (Michael) were together. She was such a lovely person and a light for us all. I felt a kinship with her because of her love of the arts. I didn’t know she was I’ll so it was quite a surprise. The news of Elaine's passing brought incredible sadness to my heart. I had the occasion to speak with her a few times, usually about art business, but those few times left me with a strong sense of peace. She had that gift of speaking that made you feel like she has known you for ever. She was a gentle and gracious soul. I spoke with Elaine on the phone several times before exhibiting with Artblend at the Art market design fair. She was a lovely person and very efficient, easy to talk to, and I know Michael was devoted to her. It is heartbreaking to hear of the news of such a young vibrant person passing away. Today I received heartbreaking news about a family member. I said a family member because as a Publix associate, we treat our customers as family members, and that's where I met Elaine and Michael because I used to make their cakes for Every event that they were having; she was charming, humbled, and always had a warming smile on her face. When I learned from Michael that she had passed. That deeply hurt my heart. Elaine Will truly be missed, and I thank God that I had an opportunity to serve her as a customer of Publix and may her soul rest in peace
