The Man, Emmanuel O.N. Uche - Citation by Joy Ugwum Ezeigbo, Esq.

Emmanuel Onyemaubochi Nhoromkanma Uche was, indeed, an Epitome of Selflessness. He was a brilliant lawyer, an astute deacon, a husband of one wife, father of three, father-in-law of two and grandfather of three. He was an ideal family man who cherished relationships and presided over a home enriched with 'agape' love to the glory of God and blessings of humanity. You would be right if you called him a 'Radical for Jesus' as He was committed to the propagation of the gospel.
He set up a scholarship scheme to facilitate the training of pastors in the Bible School over a span of three decades.
In recognition of his selfless service to God and humanity, he made the premier list of awardees for the conferment of the award of the 'Ambassador of the Kingdom’ by the then General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Nigeria - Rev. Dr. Charles Ogbonnaya Osueke, several years ago. It was an honour well-deserved.
E.O.N. Uche was a hard core philanthropist and a quintessential Lawyer, whose legal practice majorly consisted of “pro bono” services to churches and indigent persons. A man with a “heart of gold” whose liberality transcended religious and socio-ethnic sentiments, dependable friend, a counsellor and mentor par excellence. He was, indeed, a great inspiration to many!
A man with an open heart, an open hand, an open mind, an open door and an open wallet.
E.O.N. UCHE held various positions both in secular and church settings, many of which earned him meritorious awards. In fact, his office is filled up with plaques in his honor.

E. O. N. UCHE also served as Legal Adviser to several companies, and lectured in some training schools. He was a regular conference speaker and authored several biographies of his senior friends, especially ministers of God. He was also a contributor to many books, a preacher, counselor and mentor per excellence.
On 6th February, 2020, Barrister Emmanuel Onyemaubochi Nhoromkanma Uche gloriously transitioned to the yonder side.
