Started off with a bit of hope despite the multiple seizures indeed scary I haven't seen anything like these seizures before. You had me running round the wards looking for the nurses on duty at about 2am. You were jerking so bad and spilling out vegetable and black blood and some funny breathing sounds I prayed, I wept, finally the medication kicked in and you were calm I would never forget how I kept peeping to check the rhythm of your breathing finally it was morning all your loved ones kept coming to visit you, tears rolled down your comatose eyes a couple of times, you blinked once for yes and 2ice for no segun spoke to you to try to bring you back but no luck the neurologist came to assess you, in her report, she mentioned things I haven't heard before
She said it could be 3 things either:
COVID which was negative at the time
A shortage in the vessel carrying blood or oxygen
Or a leakage
She suggested you do an MRI to ascertain what what was making you brain-dead (loss of neural activity she called it)
Seconds turned to long hours loved ones kept visiting
It was quite a peaceful night leading to a busy day however not knowing what was about to hit us we set out for the MRI iyabeji ogunyemi was accompanied me to clinix
