Although I cry and stand grief-stricken by your grave,

I promise not to forget the loving memories you gave,

But still I miss you so very much, my sister dear, Esther Powell.

And your caring words I once again long to hear;

My heart's only solace is one day I will see you again.

Tribute to a beloved sister and a colleague

Dear sister,, your exit is shocking and indescribably. Many have asked how it all happened, I cannot explain, the Lord that giveth takes away. But I  will live to reflect on the memories of your charity to humanity.

You were alady with  a Christlike heart. You loved all, play with all, help all and  and most atimes denied yourself much to  comfort many. I nicknamed you" Mother Theresa'  because of your compassionate heart towards the poor.
You left  me ,you left your IKPE, your friend and official companion  without a word. You didn't confided to me that you are embarking on this eternal   journey but just slipped off quietly on that fateful Monday morning while many were expecting your gallant appearance as usual at the CG parade.
Why now? When you have filed all your professional papers getting set for the commandant's examination..
Dear Deputy Commandant,who will stand  beside me on the parade ground every Monday  morning on Commandant General's parade. Hmmmmmn! Am sad but your strong faith in Jesus Christ and love  for the kingdom gives me hope.
Sleep on Gallant defender of critical National Assets and infrastructure
You were a God fearing, loving,caring and a trustworthy officer and above all an advocate of peace and justice. Though your mortal frame is swallowed in the  dark and coldness of the grave,I know that the Almighty God that knows your good works on Earth will pliot you to eternal rest. Amen.
