Hi Dad, Just remembering you today. How you passed on my anniversary. I miss you a lot. You’re so lucky not being here anymore the world has changed so much, it would really upset you. Happy Birthday Dad. Another year pasts means I’m getting older too. 2021 would have been a shock to you, very glad you didn’t have to experience it. I know your spirit still watches over us and I’m quite sure you and Mom are still very proud of us. Please say Hi to Mom if and when you see her. Dad I think about you and Mom almost daily. What comes to mind right now is the time you drove the Pontiac out by the State Hospital so I could try driving unknown to Mom. Remember when I went to turn the corner and drove right into the ditch. Boy was Mom mad when we got home, but thank you for your love and patience to at least let me try. Dad - I miss our talks no matter the subject, they were great. Thank you for all the support and love you gave me and my extended family throughout the years. You taught me how to be humble and how to dedicate myself to my family. After a lifetime watching and living with you and Mom I have realized my purpose. 
When I think back on all the things you did for our family, the way in which you cared, I’m filled with a sense of gratitude and pride. I seldom took the time to tell you I loved you until the end was near. I am honored to have been your son and I tell you now, you are the best father I could have had.
