Her Life
April 7, 2021
Eva was born in England to Leon and Zofia Rozek. In the early 50s they moved to Edison New Jersey where she grew up. She graduated St. Mary's high school in the early 60s. Sometime after that she married and divorced John Knehr with whom she had a son her beloved Richard Knehr. I'll leave any further details of her life in the 50s,60s,70s and early 80s to the family and friends who knew her best during that time.
When I met Eva in the late 80s she was working as a pit manager at the Atlantic City Golden Nugget/Bally's Grand Casino. She had a wonderful work family of co-workers most of whom she kept in contact with over the passing years.
In 1999 we relocated to Vegas. Eva transferred to Bally's Paris Casino where she acquired a new work family and friends. Eva continued her employment with the company as a casino supervisor, ACM and Table Games Tournament Director until her retirement in 2015.
In her leisure time Eva loved to read some of her favorite authors were Harlan Coben, James Patterson, Steven King and James Clavell. She also loved in no particular order; Bowling, Bingo and Video Poker.
