My uncle, no words can describe how much i will miss you. You will always be remembered - the constant advise you gave so abundantly, the friendship, the care, and most of all, your sense of humor which always made us feel so at home. I really thank God for the time He enabled us have with you. Home is not home without you anymore.

It struck me deeply in my soul, losing a pillar, a friend and a brother. We just talked few weeks ago when he told me that he was supposed to travel to Uganda for an X-Mas Holiday. After not getting a feedback on my emails i was prompted to call. What I heard was un-believable, when they were telling me that "your brother has just passed away 20 minutes ago". Brother Godfrey rest in peace.

Rest in peace Godfrey, we should all learn from you from the great will you had towards life. May the almighty bless and give Barbara the will to go on after you are gone.

I personally had a chance to interact with Godfrey on a few occasions, and was always amazed at his warm welcome & kindness he showed everyone. His strength and positive outlook on life will be forever remembered in our community. May God be with his loving wife and give the entire family strength as they go through this tough time. Let Godfrey's candle burn in their midst forever.

When I first arrived, Godfrey was one of the first Ugandans I met. He had lots of funny stories that were very entertaining.

There is nothing that can explain the feeling of a loss of a loved one but we know that through it all God is able to comfort and strengthen us because of His promised of hope that He has given to us. Godfrey will be greatly missed but we thank God for having known him and we pray for Barbara and the rest of the family and relatives that God will give them courage during this time.

God gave you to us to show us courage, fortitude, and love. Without complaint, you lived your life. We shall forever remember your laughter, humor and maturity. We thank God who kept you and has now taken you back. Your life will forever shine before us brightly.
