Thinking of you
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I imagine you laughing at me when I'm working on something around the house. I think of you when we go to Maine and how sorry I am that you never got up to see the house. Christmas time was special this year. Each grandchild received some of your tools in a Homer Toolbox. I put a picture of you and Dana and you and Donnie in each of their boxes.
Such a wonderful dad, daddy and father. Took to soon from our lives.
You break our hearts in many ways. The fact that your gone, the fact that we loved you so much and the fact that you are in our hearts forever.
Love,
Aud Your favorite Middle Child!
Dad
Some vivid memories; you chasing me through the house at a young age, just because I did something I shouldn't have. I believe you were going to spank me but couldn't catch me (or really didn't want to, even though I probably deserved it).
Of you 'letting Ellen" fill the tires on the tractor and then hearing a loud "bang" becasue she filled it wayyyyyyyy too much.
OR when Ellen was mowing the grass and acidently mowed over the grass turf door mat and got it all stuck in the lawn mower.
OR when Ellen cleaned her car with an SOS pad!
hmmmmmmmmmm maybe you should have been chasing Ellen?
I just wanted you to know, that all of your tools are going to good use.
Some children in Florida are starting their own landscaping business. Each grandchild of yours will receive a special gift at Christmas from mom.
You behave up there..................... I live because you laugh.......... you smile................Miss you.............
