Well Houston, it's been a week. I still can't believe you're gone. However, I think you've been watching over all of us this past week. I cannot express how much you will be missed. But
I can also not express how much you are loved. Have fun in heaven, I know you already are. We love you pharoah.

We are saddened for the loss of your son. All we have heard about Houston is how vibrant and full of life he was. God made only ONE Houston St. John and he had admirable attributes that will live on with family and friends. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers here in Dallas. David & Theresa - you are loved and appreciated. Eddie/Adela/Araceli/Maritza/Lori and Angelica

Dear David and Theresa, Levita and I are so sorry to hear about your loss. We pray that all the words of comfort that you guys have conveyed to your sheep as loving shepherds, will become sources of strength, comfort, and peace during this time of grief. My daughter Maggie Mulligan was blessed with the opportunity to be in Stage Right’s Les Miserables with Houston, and in a CYT acting class. She refers to Houston as her best friend and I know that was one of his many gifts – he made everyone feel special! She will miss him terribly but remember him always. We are all truly better for knowing him.

As a member of Starlight Theatre's Blue Star nominating committee, I had the opportunity to enjoy Houston's performance in "Guys & Dolls" last year. He was one of those people who seemed to be born to inhabit the stage, and I am grateful to be among those he shared his gift with. My heart goes out to his family and friends. His time here was too brief, but what a shining moment it was.

Our prayers are with the entire family. So sad for the SMW community to lose such a wonderful individual!  We know you will take comfort in the Lord who has Houston in the palm of His hand! Houston's aunt Rachel (Mommy Rachel to us) provided day care for our Nicole many years ago when we were introduced to your family. Romans 8:38-39

Houston was larger than life. Losing him is hard. And yet all of the SMW choir and theatre kids and the Christian Youth Theater kids past, present and future now have a very powerful Angel to call upon before each performance, or audition, or every time they take the stage - they can think of Houston and gain strength. All our love to the St. John family and friends. God's speed Houston!

To the family :  my sincere condolences.  There is no greater pain than the death of a loved one.  Sometimes it seems almost more than a person can bear.  Jehovah God helps us with this in His word,  He promises us that He will put a stop to all sickness and death will be no more (REV 21;3.4)  Jehovah also shows His love for us through the ransom sacrifice

My son Kaleb was blessed to have been roommates with Houston when they both spent a week at Broadway at Baker for "All Shook Up." Kaleb has wonderful memories of heartfelt conversations about God and life, that usually went until 3:00 in the morning. They spent only a week together at camp, but Houston's spirit and faith will stay with my son forever. Prayers and condolences to his family.

The thing I enjoyed most about Houston, besides his amazing entertainment ability, was the way he loved his mom and dad. Watching him in the hallways at school when his mom was around was wonderful - filled with love and respect, always. And how he greeted his parents after shows - they lit up his life, as much as he lit up theirs. My heart and prayers are yours during this time.

I remember when Houston auditioned for his first CYT product, Joseph. There was no doubt once he opened his mouth and began to sing that he would be the perfect Pharaoh. Then as we got to know him, we learned he was not only extremely gifted, but a hard worker, smart, a joy to have around, and just a great human being. What a bright light he was!

I remember watching Houston for the first time at a choir concert. He brought so much life to what he was singing. You could feel the passion that he had for performing. Although I didn't know him personally, my heart was so very heavy to know of his passing. I pray that the St. John family will be able to find peace and healing from this tragic loss.

I cannot tell you how much I am blessed to have know Houston. What a gift from God. What a Faith filled family with wonderful children and parents. You've done everything right. The song "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe helps me picture his 1st moment of complete joy! I know that Houston is showing Jesus some Micheal & Elvis dance moves as we speak and helping out the angelic choirs.

Houston was one of the most beautiful souls I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Every bone in his body was made of love and passion- two things he shared with everyone he encountered. There's no doubt in my mind he changed the lives of those close to him. Thank you for everything you've done, honey. I'm proud to call you one of my closest friends. I watched you perform a few of your plays, You were absolutely flawless, You would have been the best actor ever. Anything and everything you would have done would have been incredible, The lord must have needed you for him to take you so suddenly. I Can not express how much you will be missed.

Houston was always so positive and happy about everything. No matter what my mood was, he never failed at making me laugh until my sides hurt. He was always so passionate in whatever he was talking about. He inspired me to be a better person. I truly believed he was going to be famous. I honestly consider him one of the most influential people in my life. Love and miss you Houston.

Houston brought great joy to us through his amazing talent for performing. The first time I saw him perform was as Elvis at Sunflower. He delighted us in the Music Man at Westridge, with his Thriller dance and as Pharaoh in Joseph at CYT. We will miss his bright smile and enthusiasm, but his beautiful influence on those around him will live on. Peace and love to the St. John family.

We will always have a loving memory of Houston as a wonderful friend of Michael from kindergarten through 6th grade. Houston was a gift to all, talented, smart, and a true witness of Christian life. Michael always knew Houston was someone he could share his faith with and we will always be grateful for their friendship. May God's love and comfort guide you through this difficult time.

Houston has become one of my best friends just this year. It's so amazing what just a few months can do. The last thing he said to me was thank you. All of my prayers go to David, Theresa, and Austin, and other family/friends.

Houston was a wonderfull member of our first grade classroom community. Even at that tender young age, he demonstrated compassion and respect for all others. I often recall fondly the time my husband and I went to see Houston and Austin perform at their church. Everyone knows Houston; he's that kind of personality. This morning my seventh grader, who has never even met him, said "I saw Houston in his underwear." She was talking about his performance in the spring Spotlighters show. His Professor Harold Hill could give even Robert Preston a run for his money. Thoughts and peace to his family.
