Daddy words can't describe how sad I feel. Thank you for all the stories you told me, thank you for taking care of me from a tender age, thank you for given me a home when i had none, thank you for those days we could go to the farm together and all the places we went together.
Daddy no one can replace you forever in my life. Remember when I told you I want to be your daughter in my next life and we laughed about it, I meant it. You taught me kindness seeing how you would give me money to give those widows in the village and the way people came to seek advice from you captured my heart. I am privileged to be called your granddaughter. Words can not be enough to describe what you meant to me Adieu Daddy.

Daddy!! You’ve aged gracefully, but getting a call from my mom about your passing is something that hurt me so much I just can’t explain, you’ve left a void in my heart that no one can ever fill. You played the role of a dad and a grand dad and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else but you. I’ll chose you in a heartbeat in my next life. I’m blessed with all the memories I had with you. You’re literally the strongest, most loving person I know in my entire life time. You love and correct without holding back. You’re my inspiration, knowing your humble beginnings and how even when the odds weren’t in your favor you still fought for your dreams, that has been my greatest motivation. Words can never be enough for me to describe what you mean to me. I love you so so much and with you in heaven I now have a personal guardian angel. Rest well Daddy I LOVE YOU.

The news of your death came a shock to me, Because just last week I & your granddaughter Lady Phine (my Sis_inlaw) had plans on how we would come over to spend the Christmas with you & your great grandkids but how could we have planned without consenting your CHI to know his will for you. My 1st encounter with Pa Ignatius was in 2017 when I visited his country home in Amakama Umuahia, His reception of me was awesome, the few days I spent in his house was a blessed moment, His smile caught me, He was so liberal,a cheerful giver, full of humility, hospitable, entertaining and not to forget his Live Roman Mass He would listen over and over again,He was a full blown Catholic & a God fearing Man. Few day with him & his lovely wife was as though I've live my entire life with them. How would i know it would be my last glimpse of you Sir?
As you've journeyed to answer God's home call, I take solace in those beautiful memories & your brilliant smiles which knew no boundaries.
Rest In Peace Sir Iroegbu Ignatius Ibegbulam "Triple I"

Pa Iroegbu was a fine officer.
Patriotic to the core and so finely cut for his soldiering career you would think he had lived the role before.

A strict disciplinarian- and I admired his doggedness which inspired many of us even from a distance.

Pa you will be missed - I recall my meeting with Papa when I was just a young School leaver in Kaduna. I recall the exciting moments with Pa’s children who are my friends and family.

Looking back. We were young and adventurous - to say the least, we were stars and the rave of the moment then. You can’t imagine how hard we tried not to get into trouble with Pa Iroegbu. Even when we did, each time he returned from his official trips, he will stabilize the boys and ‘life goes on.’

Oh Pa Iroegbu is gone!!!
Sad. But God has called.
Like the soldier he was, he has obeyed God’s command - duty calls once again.

Adieu Papa
I stand with your children at this sad moment - Reginald and Ben were and still are more than friends to me. I join them in the celebration of a life spent in an exemplary manner - a life where humanity is greater than wealth.
Yes!!!
That was the path Pa Iroegbu chose.

May Papa’s gentle and upright soul Rest In Peace

The News of your passing came as a rude shock to me, but we cannot question God about issues like this. Sir, you were a gentleman and a loving father to your Children and to those around you. Your departure will create a vacuum that no one can fill in but we take solace in the fact that we shall meet at Jesus'feet at the resurrection. Adeui Daddy, rest well!

But actually, the sense of purpose that lift us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is not but the precursor to valour, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear, is what is meant to be a hero. Dad was and truly still "is" an amazing HERO...
