James Thomas Minor ( Count Coolout)

James Thomas Minor was born on January 20, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY, to Helene Minor Carson and Thomas J. Reynolds, both deceased. He attended Bushwick High School in Brooklyn and went on to attend Medgar Evers College.  James entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2021 after a long and enduring illness. 

His love for R&B/SOUL music  led him to produce such songs as "Touch The Rock,"  "Rhythm Rap Rock," "Here to stay,"  "Twenty Seven Letters," a Video "At the Rock," to name a few.

His brother Elbert Jason Reynolds preceded him in death.  James leaves to cherish his memories his two sons Renel Minor and Noel Minor; five sisters: Rita Williams, Phyllis Harden-Pickney (Allen), Tamika Carson Alston (Ricky), Nadine Carson Santana (Elio), Leesha Helene Carson; two brothers: Christopher Kelly Reynolds, Lee Carson Jr;  his uncle James A. Minor and a host of loving relatives and friends.

James was cremated and his remains will be with his son Noel.
