Mama alasepe, one day she was scolding Efrebo (nickname of one of her grand nephew) for telling lies. He said Mummy walahi talahi I didn't do it
Alasepe said gbenu soun igbawo lobere Ile kewu? (when did you start Islamic school?)
No matter how smart you think you're, she will always get you. Rest on the smartest grandma.

Her exciting way of correcting wrong behaviours.

Mama had interesting and funny way to correct wrong behaviours, examples:

  1. Abunu ko'gbo awon omo egbe n wa kiri (an idiot got lost in the forest, his colleagues were looking for him) - when a group of people are being silly. She used this expression when one commited an offence, and the rest of us were defending him/her.
  2. Ę ye joko ijoko fulishi- don't sit with fools or like a fool. - her expression to warn from joining bad friends, or getting work done on time.
Sweet is the memory of the righteous.

I love to share one of Mummy favourite Song

Ohun kohun ti o dèmí lónà ìyè
(Anything that will hinder me from the path of salvation)
Métálokan bámi mu kúrò
(Holy trinity remove it for me)
Bó se owó ni o
(If it's money)
Bó se ilé ni o
(If it's house)
and so on, she will continue to add all what she did not want to break her salvation in the Lord.
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. "
