I was amongst the very few who studied at the Asian School during its early days. I remember, when I was seeking admission for my daughter & had gone for interview, Mr. Joseph recalled me & said ohh your Sagar's daughter. I have a memory from my class photo which I will cherish always

Joseph Thomas was our neighbor for a while In the early 90s. He was a lovable person who was instrumental in bringing the Asian School in Bahrain to its present stature. His departure is a tremendous loss to both countries. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers. May God rest his soul in peace and give courage to his loved ones to pass through these testing times.

Memories just flowed into my mind today as I heard the demise of Sir. I had my first interaction with Sir after my demo in the Asian school and I went to meet Sir in his office. My first thought that came when I saw sir was a simple personality who was seated on the chair, though Sir was the Director of the esteemed institution. Today as I heard the demise all these thoughts came into my mind. It was in the will of God as his plan is perfect. Miss you Sir. Prayers for Madam at this juncture of time. God will provide all strength from heaven above.

It is great loss of each of the members of The Asian School family. Rest In Peace sir. May God grant courage to Elizabeth madam and all your family members to withstand this big loss.

A school is always the dearest place of a child in hindsight. It's the place of innocence where he learns, understands his potential and probably even realises his destiny and calling in life. I do not have a direct relationship with Late Mr. Joseph Thomas but I am someone who was a part of sir's dream when he established the Asian School in Bahrain. To have the vision and confidence to start a school which in addition to being an institute of learning, was also a means of employment to many talented, dedicated teachers and non-teaching staff indeed served a noble purpose. Wherever the students of Asian School are and have reached today, is due to the foundation they received at the Asian School and therefore, is sir's victory as much as it is ours. Thank you sir. May your body rest in peace and your soul find happiness in heaven.

Sir is the reason I am where I am today.
