This is Art Parker from Chesterfield IL. I am a cousin of Don. I never knew what happened to Kay and just today did a google search and found this page, sorry to hear of Kay's passing. I only met Don David twice once when he was a baby and another time in his teens. I am so pleased to read all the messages and learn how close of family you have in Flordia.

Our condolences to Kay's family. She was a dear friend and will be missed greatly. She always had a friendly ear to talk about the Grandkids.
She will be correcting our spelling and grammar in heaven.

Kay was wonderful, thoughtful, kind brave and reverent and could have run the world with kindness and dignity. We have truly lost a great treasure and heaven is enriched forever.

Kay was a treasure in all respects. Extremely social, helpful, interested, reliable, and just one of the best people in most other people's lives. Always cheerful, informative, and so very aware of what was going on in the neighborhood, and other resident's lives. There are very few people of her stature, and it was an honor to know her. She will be sorely missed by all of the many friends, relatives, and people whose lives she touched. She was literally in a class by herself. Jim Behrens, 4520 Sweetwater Lake Drive.

Kay, dear Kay, had a big heart and lots of love for people. She was an extremely bright lady who could cover a lot of topics easily. What we planned for an hour visit usually turned into two or more hours. She loved books and often shared some with me. Kay was my proof-reader for things I wrote; as an English major, she could spot an error or a poorly arranged sentence in a second. At our Condo Association she had a mind that could remember business going back twenty years; she was the "maven" for our community. I will miss her so much.   Love, Susan Schubert
