I worked as a contractor for Larry at the Canadian Embassy from 2001 to 2005. He quickly found a nickname for me as Bigfoot (or Sasquatch as we were at the Canadian Embassy) because of my size 15 shoes. One day he told me he would call me Foot, not Bigfoot, because he said we were friends and friends keep it informal. So Foot it was. And then when I took a promotion I started training my replacement. First name An. Middle initial K. Last name Le. An K Le. Ankle. It was perfect. Foot and Ankle. Kevin please accept my sincerest condolences. I miss him.

Happy birthday dad. I am hanging out with friends at the beach today. Having your sense of humor, i will have some belly laugh moments with them and will be reminded of that side of you. Hope you are pranking them in heaven.

I last saw Larry in 2007 when he left the Canadian Embassy. It has been a while, but I will always remember the smile on his face. May you rest in peace, Larry.

Dear Crystal and family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Larry in Pennsboro, WV from around April, 1972 to 1980 and always enjoyed learning from him and working with him. I also had somehow lost track of him after he left Pennsboro.

May God be with you and comfort you through this rough time. Just take life one day at a time.

I worked with Larry for 4 years at the Canadian Embassy In the Engineering department. One of my saddest days was September 4, 2006 when I was informed that Larry had a stroke. He was a great boss and a true friend and will be truly missed. There is not one day that goes by that I have not thought of Larry. His ideas and sense of humor live on in this building that ties together Canada and the U.S. I will miss his unique way of getting you all worked up over something, then laughing with you to let you know, that whatever you are worked up about is no big deal. I have missed Larry and will miss him until it is my time to leave this world. My condolences to Crystal and his family on their loss.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Larry. When I first stared working at the embassy he was the first person I would see every morning and on his way to get his newspaper for the day he would always bring one back for me as well. Larry was a Kind and gentle soul. My God Bless you and your Family at this time.

Crystal and the rest of Larry's family. My sincere condolence.
May God grant you peace and the strength to get through this
difficult time.

Larry was my buddy - he started with AT&T at Pennsboro
in the mid '60's.  Just the two of us most of the time.  He
learned the job quickly and I can say without reservation
that Larry was one of the best people I have ever worked
with.  I had lost track of him over the years.
