On Larry’s birthday, I’m reminded of all the great times we had together with him, Sherrie, and family. I miss him terribly but I see him in his children and grandchildren. Here’s to a life well lived!

A conversation came back to me between my son Jarrell and my husband Andy after a basketball game at a company picnic. I think it’s safe to say, Larry’s skills were concentrated on his defensive play when Jarrell told his father he wanted to play on Larry’s team. Andy’s feelings were hurt and he ask Jarrell why; which he replied “I was going in for a lay up and Uncle Larry almost dislocated my shoulder”! “Aaah, I understand” said Andy. Needless to say, there are probably many other stories attributed to Larry’s style of play on the courts around the country! Haha..

It seems very hard to believe that “Pescado” left us. Unfortunately I had lost track of him for sometime but I vividly remember our great times at UCLA roommates. We drank, shared stories and got in trouble together with our other Amigo Mike Sanford. Those years I wished they were able to be relived. I miss you my friend and eventually we will reconnect and share new stories.

My husband, of not nearly enough years, is always in my heart and very much in my head. Most recently, it is that 'Larry Fisher' smile that radiates within a moment of life celebration, accomplishments and joy. You shared adventure, discernment, wisdom and gratitude with a glorious smile. You, my dear, are loved and remembered.

Larry was a 'saint among us' not nearly long enough, but oh what richness he shared with those who knew him well. I love him beyond 'until death do us part'. Thank you family and friends for sharing your hearts. He is indeed part of us all.
I love you, Bear, always and forever.

We miss Larry. Larry evoked optimism and positive energy to everyone he met and never seemed to have a bad day. I learned a lot and laughed with Larry. We feel fortunate to have known him and lived near him. We wish healing and love to his family, especially on this day, and especially to you Sherrie. With love, Claudia & Garth

Larry: you and your family always brought fun and joy to our lives. Meredith especially would pop up at our kitchen door, not always at the most convenient moments, but she'd unfailingly bring contagious cheer and enthusiasm with her. That wondrous ability to live in the moment spilled over from your family to ours, and we have been forever changed (for the better) by it. We owe you a big debt of gratitude, and we'll think of you throughout those special moments when we just have fun.

I only knew Larry through the dental office. I would generally clean Sherrie's teeth and Lori would clean Larry's. They would be in separate rooms but still tease each other. Most couples love each other but not all couples still like each other. Sherry and Larry really liked each other. I always enjoyed their company and the way they would make me feel comfortable and laugh. I was supposed to make them feel comfortable. Sherrie I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I just found out last night. He was a special man to have in this world and will be surely missed. My God hold you and your family in a special place while He is enjoying Larry's company till you get to see him again.

I only knew Larry (and his 'treasured' Sherrie) as my dental hygiene patient of many many years. I never met a man who unashamedly adored his wife and treasured his daughters (and their families) more than he would freely express to me. Long before cancer found this sweet man, Larry possessed this fine quality of Loving You All So Very Very Much. His eyes lit up every time, while joyfully sharing his 6 mos updates with me. During Larry's final cleaning visit with me; he was very very optimistic, was confident that he would be fine, and shared that all he truly wanted to do was to walk his last little girl proudly down her wedding aisle. Though I know how truly painful your loss feels for each of you; I pray that you can feel Larry's love always surrounding you, walking with you even still, that you will see him smiling at you in the special moments of your lives, and that you will always know how proud of you your Dad will always be. Larry is truly fine now, as he told me he would be...He was always a fine man and always will be. OX

Larry your smile, you love for life and for your family lives on in each and everyone of them...I know you will always be with them, watching over them...loving them. From the first moment I met you I saw the love between yourself and Sherrie, your strength to fight on and live your life to the fullest. God Bless You and your family and thank you for always being so kind and thoughtful to me. May your family find peace in this beautiful memorial and cherish your memories. Always, Heather Manspeaker, your neighbor.

I met Larry and Sherrie for the first time during an Erico weekend in Dublin with Bill. I remember them both as being a warm and charismatic couple. We wandered round the city for a day taking in the history and the local Guinness. Larry was memorable for his love of life and insatiable interest in the world around him. God bless him, and our thoughts go out to Sherrie and the family. Julia and Bill Youll.

I have so many wonderful memories of Larry over the 20 plus years working together at ERICO. I will always remember the true spirit of Larry, a man you enjoyed pushing to archive many goals both in his career and personal life, a true gentleman . I always loved listening to Larry speak about his family and had the pleasure to meet all his children over the years. Larry always made it a point to ask about my family on every occasion we worked together, he truly took a personal vested interest in all the people he touched. He loved life and he faced all that came his way with an unwavering grace that I will always admire. I remember one trip to New Orleans after a long day of meetings and a great dinner, as we walked back to the hotel we decided to buy a few lottery tickets, with a hand shake we agreed whoever wins we split it! I would say that was at least 15 years ago and over the years when we would get back together one or the other of us would always ask “ buy any lottery tickets lately” with that Larry Fisher wink and smile, he would always respond ! deals a deal! I will miss my friend Larry but I will never forget him. My sincere condolences

I joined Larry's ITS team in 2007 and was instantly won over by both his professional and his laid back friendly personality.
Always a pleasure to be around Larry both professionally and socially.
Like everyone who knew or met him I am left with some very fond long lasting memories.
My sincerest condolencies to all his family.

I think about my dad everyday. Just when I think my day is pretty normal, some simple memory about him will come to mind. Today it was when I was making steaks for dinner. He made great steaks. He always worked so hard and took the time to make sure everyone had their steaks just the way they wanted them. He wouldn't accept any sort of compromise, if you didn't like the way it was cooked he would fix it if he could or offer his to you. That was just how he was with everything. He would do whatever it took to make everyone's steak was perfect and they would all be hot and ready at the same time. I miss you everyday dad.

I met Larry for the first time when he transferred to Solon in the mid-1990’s. We worked together closely for nearly 10 years, he as Sales Manager, I as Product Manager for CADDY. We did not always see eye-to-eye, especially since most of the time I was in California and he was in Solon or travelling somewhere around the country. But we always found a mutually agreeable solution – that’s what two engineers do. As a professional, Larry was goal-oriented, fair-minded and had a positive outlook – no matter what the challenge was. As a friend, he was caring, gracious and reliable. He adored Sherrie and was proud of his children. He showed me the tremendous love for his family during our many after-hours conversations at conferences in Dallas, trade shows in Vancouver or sales meetings in Paris. He drew his energy from their accomplishments.
Larry, my friend, you have been called home and I miss you …

I have worked with Larry for about last 7 years at ERICO and only really had the opportunity to become friends in the last year and a half. During this time, Larry shared with me his love for his family, the health struggles that he was going through, and much more. He showed me how to be patience with customers, family, and friends. I learned a lot from him that I will use everyday in business and in life.

Larry's grace through his illness was truly inspiring. I know that came from the love and support that he received from Sherrie and his family.

Larry will be missed and not forgotten.

I knew Larry from our 15 years together at ERICO.  It is so nice to see that Larry was as respected and hard working in his personal and familial relationships as he was in his work at ERICO.  I enjoyed playing tennis with Larry and debating work issues.  It is great to see that Larry was as passionate and loving in his personal life as he was at ERICO.   I will miss Larry but I will never forget Larry.  My condolences.

I met Larry in 1997 when I started working at ERICO. I later had the privilege of working for him for awhile. Larry always spoke lovingly of his family. I met Sherrie at a Sales meeting in North Carolina, and we all had a fun afternoon of horseback riding.

Unfortunately, I have not seen Larry for a few years since I moved to Houston. I was shocked and saddened when I heard the heartbreaking news. Larry was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Sherrie and the entire family during this most difficult time.

May his soul find peace and rest after such a battle…

I guess I met Larry the day I met Andrea when we first became college roommates. I don't remember that exact moment, but I do remember bonding over dad stories. I learned from Andrea, who I'm pretty sure learned from her dad, that there was no shame drinking, only shame in drinking cheap liquor. Somehow throughout my life Larry and Sherrie have always popped up. Treating me to blue crab in Baltimore, was it Italian in New York?, a day by the pool in San Diego, and lastly a beautiful night in Santa Fe. I love you all.

I met Larry 8 years ago in Winston-Salem at a BICSI conference. He subsequently brought me onto his ITS sales team (family) 2 months later and for that I am very grateful. Larry possessed many great qualities - love for Sherry and family; loyalty; thinking out of the box; enjoying time spent with family and friends; making everyone around him feel welcome, important, and appreciated; many different interests and talents; and so many more. He will be missed by many but his legacy in family, friends, and those he worked with will continue far into the future. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sherry and family.

I met Larry in the faculty training workshop at University of Phoenix, in New Mexico…We worked together on a few presentations, he was generous and helpful throughout the process. I’ll never forget how he told me sometimes you have to “take a hit” in one area in order to maintain the integrity of the work in another…I think of that almost everyday, and pass that one to students, too.

As is common in Santa Fe, the News Years eve I spent with Larry and Sherry uncovered another connect with mutual friends…

My warmest condolences are extended to all of you close to Larry… you are all in my thoughts.

Larry was the big brother you would love to have and I was so lucky to have him as my brother-in-law. I first met Larry when Andy and I were visiting Andy's mother's and father's home in Houston. Both Andy and
his brother Mike were lying on the pull out sofa in the family room, in their whitey tiddies and nothing else watching a football game. They must of known that their sister Sherrie was going to be bringing home
her new boyfriend, why else would they have dressed up?

She brings Larry in to meet Dumb and Dumber and to my horror they
distend their very ample bellies and continue to lie there through the
whole introduction. Without any apparent surprise or repulsion he goes to them both and shakes their hands. We all new then that Larry was
someone special and unflappable. Fearless, comes to mind as well!

Needless to say, I will miss him dearly! They truly don't makem like
Larry anymore.

Uncle Larry was always strong, but until you had played basketball with him words could not do him justice. Karl Malone with a bigger heart. I will always remember the conversations that we would have, and how much I enjoyed them. then, after a couple of glasses of wine I was amazed at how the stories went from memorable to downright unforgettable. I can only wish to be as loving, selfless, and deep thinking in my life as Larry seemed in his. If I could, a life fulfilled.

The first time I met Larry was at my parents home in Houston. Sherrie had brought him by to meet everyone, my dad was coming later after being on a drill rig offshore..
When dad came in , Larry was pouring himself a scotch, he looked up and said Mr. Nobles would you like a scotch? My dad said sure. Then dad came in the TV room where my brother Mike and I were watching a ball game and ask as only my dad could, who the hell is that giving me my own scotch.? Mike and I replied we did not know he was there when we got here.
Larry is as much my brother as Mike. I will miss him.
