I give you a rose in your memory on your birthday. The rose was your favorite flower, so I hope you with this sentiment that you are aware how much I wish we would have been closer. Little things remind of you every day. Thirteen years went by with us not talking and now it all seems like we wasted those years. You have a beautiful, HAPPY great-granddaughter now too! As I get older and remember all the fights, I also remember one of our last conversations right before your passing. We seem to have remembered our words to one another and our actions differently. I so wish we could have communicated better.

Linda was my older sister. We did not agree on lots of things, I'm so glad we talked and made up before she passed.

Yesterday's paths took me to stores that without notice had me looking for clear, but ornate vases for your mini urn. This must have been because it was your birthday. Wishing we could have talked long before your passing so we could have at least known one another while I was mature enough to work through our differences. Happy Birthday! Missing what could have been.

Linda I have memories of you as I was growing up I know you were my step-mom and my Daddy's best friend and you meant so much to them I'm so sorry about your Illness I'm not so sure why there is such a thing I don't have any answers but I do know that the one who puts breath in us who created us does his name is JESUS! there is a reason for everything! You showed me to be speak my mind, you were never afraid to do that. Whenever you told me to do something, I did it even though half the time I didn't want to, but never the less I did it because I loved you. I miss and love you so much. You will always be in my heart and mouth. Always!!!!!

Ahh Linda....I'll never forget our many many cups of coffee together.  And every night when I hear my Frogs out back singing....I'll think of you :)  4th of July cookout, shooting fireworks with the kids, then filling that cooler full of Frogs to bring back to Tennessee. :)  We will Love You Always !!! Carla, Monte, Danielle and Courtney.

To a beloved friend, without you in my life it would have been a blank page, an empty space. You were my best friend who worked together at NCO club, who we have a history together, who planned my wedding, who was there watching our children grow up to be beautiful and wonderful individuals, to see our grandchildren come into this world and to be proud of, You will be forever remembered.

My mother and I didn't get along for many years. Her stubbornness was one trait I sometimes wish I didn't inherit from her. At the end, she asked me to visit her, along with her grandsons, Parker and Phoenix. To my surprise, we didn't bother with the unnessary bad memories. We concentrated on her wishes of getting our family back together in order to keep in touch. I will always love her.
