Her family was the most important part of her life.
She was an avid reader of short stories.  Mom sang us songs like "Que Sera Sera" and "How much is that Doggie in the Window".  Lucille deeply enjoyed watching classic movies like: “I Remember Mama”, “Song of Bernadette”, and “The Quiet Man”.  Lucille and her husband Bill have travelled together to historic European cities such as Rome, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, and London.  As an excellent cook she made countless savory holiday meals and delicious summer picnics.  Lucille was a spiritual woman and she was involved in many church events and supported many the parochial school activities.   Lu and Bill were in the audience for Pope John Paul II in Rome and then again at Yankee Stadium during his Holiness’ visit to New York.  Also, Lu thoroughly enjoyed playing bridge with her close St. Aloysius parish friends.  She prayed the rosary daily.  Lu enjoyed getting together with her family, grandchildren, and friends for regular cookouts and holiday gatherings at her home; she was a consummate hostess.
