Hi Margie,
I miss you!! Looking at these photos, I am looking at my mom, at Betsy, at Oma, and our grandfather Hayes (who I never met). Looking at these photos, I see a mother who dearly loved her children, Jennifer and David. I remember clearly how proud she was of both of them. I remember how Margie sent a birthday card EVERY year, usually with a LONG ;-) warm, and loving note included. I remember visiting San Antonio and the Crystal Coast with Marge and Herb. I remember many, many family gatherings at Betsy and Bill's in White Plains and then again in Virginia when the Wessells lived there. Margie was a spark plug. I always think of her as young and energetic. I have missed her over these past several years due to her illnesses and distance from my home in NC. I have a photo of Margie, Herb, me, Dana, Susan, Chris, Betsy, Bill, Ann, and Lee all gathered at my mom's memorial service. I look at it every day - it is on my wall at work. I feel forever connected to Margie and to my Wessell cousins and to the Hayes sisters (as my brother, Chris, calls Pat, Margie, and Betsy). Thank you, Jennifer for this memorial website. Love, love, love, Elisabeth
