The first time I met Marlene I knew she was a lady with character and a lot of spunk. She was one to speak her mind, and you knew where you stood. I remember the first time she hugged me and said I love you, that was a special moment and I knew she was thinking of me as her family. She loved her sons and family, and they loved her too with the kind of love she was able to carry with her, but best of all, it was the kind of love she was also able to leave, a love her family can hold in their hearts forever. I’m happy that I was able to be her friend and now I’m able to hold her love in my heart too. Marlene your presents and company will be missed, but your love will be with us always.
