Mary will always be my hero. We were diagnosed at about the same time, and have fought this terrible desease, in a sense, together.
Mary has been someone I could share the emotional pain with. Mary understood and faced the battle head on. God has His warriors and Mary leads the fight for all us. I will miss her terribly.  Hugh

Arley, she is watching you from above, she appreciated your love and hopes you can grow beyond her passing until you meet again.
I left APR in 2007 and remember her enthusiasm. She consulted me early on
when she joined and proved herself quickly. She is in heaven and waiting for all of us.

Dear Arley: What a wonderful tribute you have prepared for Mary. We will miss her. Her contribution to life, friends, family, Rotary and the business world was terrific. Mary was an "energizer bunny". Everywhere she went she made a difference. You are to be quite proud of her contribution to her life and society. It is difficult to realize she is gone but will be remembered forever.

Dear Arley and family: Mary will be missed by all who knew her. She lit up every room with her smile, and together you two were brilliant.
A Los Altos Rotary scholarship in Mary's name is a fitting tribute to her commitment to youth and service. I will miss Mary.

Dear Arley and family,
We all share your sense of loss, for Mary was a stellar leader in our Rotary world. She could always be counted on to suggest new ideas and projects to work around problems, which helped Los Altos Rotarians in so many ways. Mary offered not only leadership, but a bright light (along with her darling impish smile!)

Dear Arley & the family,
My deepest condolences. Mary has been a great friend & wonderful client for both my wife and my businesses in the past 5 years. She took great care of her clients, fair & considerate to her vendors and always upbeat! Mary also introduced me to the wonderful folks at Palo Alto Rotary Club. She has a special place in our hearts!

My deepest sympathies, Arley. Mary was always such a fighter - I really hoped that she could beat this thing. I remember fondly watching Mary power-walk - she was virtually unstoppable. A woman on a mission! I remember how she wouldn't even linger long to chat. A force of nature. And this really is such a beautiful, loving tribute - music, photos, all of it. Please take good care. ----Tim

Arley- It is difficult to find the words to describe how saddened I am by Mary's passing. I have known her for a short time & yet, I feel like I have known her a lifetime. From the moment I met her, she was family. I enjoyed my daily visits & our talks about life & hearing her stories of childhood. Every time you left the hospital, Mary would say how lucky she was to have you in her life.
