This memorial is dedicated to the memory of our dad, Michael (Mike) Elmore Sr, who was born on March 6, 1946 and passed away on August 24, 2009.  We will remember and love him forever.

Michael Jr and Courtney welcome you to this site and hope you enjoy our cherished memories and pictures of Dad.  Please light a candle with a little memory of your own.

 *******************************************

It has now been over a month since our dad’s passing.  We miss him deeply and that will never change.  Michael Jr and Courtney would like to thank all our friends and family that have lit a candle or shared a fond memory for our dad.  Your kind words have brought smiles and of course tears to our faces.  We hope you will continue to view this website and through the years add additional memories.

We had a wonderful Memorial Celebration to honor our dad.  We are very grateful for those who traveled to be with us.  Our family and extended family are very close.  In time’s like this, one truly understands how blessed we are to have such extraordinary people in our lives.  One thing Michael Jr and Courtney have learned throughout the past few weeks is what type of a man our father was.  We always knew he was a Dad to be proud of, but only now  have we come to realize just how many lives he touched.  For some people it was just a brief moment and for others it was a lifetime.  It seems that it did not matter how he knew you,  him just knowing you made a lasting impression.

Yo Murk!! It's a little late here in AZ and add to that a G&T along with a clear one but I'll be darned if I could find the email from Forever Missed. Had to pull it together to remember the website but here I am.
Your grandson Mike III is joining us for dinner day after tomorrow along with his friend Jon. The occasion is to celebrate your birthday (KFC and eclairs) and Debbie's 60th. She's here for the week. BTW, David Jr surprised us all with a sneak attack this afternoon. First time the four of us have been together as a solo group in none of us can remember when.
So, tonight, we raised glasses in toasting what would have been your 78th. Our memories and recollections of you are as strong as ever. We are so grateful for the time we had you in our lives but so still miss your presence among us.
Down the road Murk, down the road! We have a lot of catching up to do!

Well another year around the sun for me and another heavenly bday for you, my dear sweet Uncle Mike! It's soooooo hard to believe it's been like 12 years?? It seems like just yesterday you were with us...we miss you terribly - all the time. Give a hug to Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Ken and I'm sure Ralph and Lightning have been busy playing fetch with you. We will meet up again one day and I hope when that happens they'll have Pizza King pizza!!
Love you crazy and miss you crazier! Team Giles xoxo

When we were sophomore's and had home basketball games I always walked home with Mike and we had toast with honey on it for extra energy for the game. I don't know if it worked but we believed it did. I think believing is
all that counts. I sure enjoyed those times. God bless you Mike. We always hade a lot of fun.
