Someone once said "Time is perhaps our most precious commodity, and once it passes, it is lost forever". While this is true, I do believe that the people like Mike can never be considered as “gone”. They are alive forever due to their profound impact on those left behind. Although I only met him a few times, it was obvious from the beginning that he was kind, generous, and simply put…real! It’s often hard for me to connect with people, but that was never the case with Mike. This was the effect he had on people. It was his simplicity and candidness. He touched so many people too many times by simply being himself. I loved listening to Mike and Tracy as they shared stories of their childhood memories and even talked about “grown up” dreams. Their personalities were soo different, yet they shared a special bond that only a brother and sister can understand. To Sharon, Rachel, Megan, and Tracy, please accept my heartfelt condolences and know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. The world has lost a generous heart and he will be missed by many. ~ Beth Dunaway
