This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Moireh Moon, 63, born on April 22, 1948 and passed away on February 1, 2012.  Please check back often for updates, as there are many stories and pictures and stories to share.  


She leaves behind a loving family that did what they could for her terrible disease but gave her endless love and will miss her dearly.  She has done so much for all of us to become the people that we are today.  She will live on forever in our hearts.

Happy birthday to you today, I have so many memories of you . Your great love for your grandchildren Alyssa, Jennifer , Jeremy jr. & Ireland ( my babies). What an awesome grandma you were to them , they never forget & talk about you often . You would love your great grandchildren just as much Yasser, Samarah & baby Adam . Of course, I started writing a poem to my friend, Jennifer, as I mostly knew her, yesterday. I saw a message today saying it's been 7 years now she's gone. I think of her from time to time and miss her so much to this day. What a remarkable mind, beautiful poet, brilliant therapist, loving friend, and adoring mother. My life is not the same having known her. Still working on that poem. I hope it can convey the absolute love I have for her still.

Unfortunately, I never met Moireh, but I know she must have been a special person and a loving soul. Caley spent his younger years with her and she had a lot to do with who he is today.I couldn't ask for a more wonderful husband for my daughter or a better son in law. He's a very special person with so many wonderful qualities and I love him dearly. Thank you, Moireh. You'll be missed.

Tony came home today with a vinyl album "The Changer & the Changed," by Chris Williamson. We played it, and thought of our beloved Jennifer and Sunflower House. I kept in touch with Jennifer for years on the phone, by mail, email, while she moved from Santa Cruz to Indiana, NJ, AZ. Tony & I visited her in Tuscon. As she became sicker, we talked about her moving to FL, but realized it was impossible because of residency issues for her insurance, but there came a time when she no longer answered her phone, and I hadn't asked for Caley or Jeremy's numbers until it was too difficult for her to get the information. Tony said, have you done an obit search, and I laughed thinking of all her names, and realized, I could have done that years ago, but I did it today, after listening to Chris Williamson's Waterfall, and it was perfect. We will always love you, Jennifer/Moireh/MaryJane.

everytime i talked to you grandma you always told me the same stories about when i was a young child but i never got tired of hearing it. the first story was when i was just a baby and we were at your house in santa cruz and you walked out of your room in the middle of the night and the house was dark and you walked by me and you said all you seen were my bright big eyes. you said they were so beautiful and hypnotizing and from that moment you said you knew i was destined to be someone special because that night you had a dream about my eyes and it was very special. the other story that i enjoyed so much was when i was a young child and you would tell me "lyssa your so beautiful" and i would say "no im not i ugly" and you would tell me "lyssa your so smart" and i would say "no im not i dupid" i would give anythig to hear you tell me those stories again. i love you grandma and i miss you so much.
