"Our dad was truly the best around. He was always so supportive of everything we did and was always there for us. When we were little he always took us out to adventures, whether it be hiking at Griffith Park, trips to the Culver City Pool or a day spent at Six Flags; my dad made always made sure to have fun with us. My dad was one of my biggest fans, who always came to watch me sing with my high school choir and when it was time to graduate College, my dad was there with the biggest smile on his face. I think that's what I'm going to miss the most, seeing his bright smile. 

My dad will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors. I find peace in knowing he died doing what he loved and spent his final moments in a place he loved. 

I want to thank everyone for reaching out to us and giving us love and support. It makes my heart happy hearing and reading the memories he help create. My heart is at ease knowing that he was never alone and that he impacted so many lives. I can only hope that you all continue on with your own adventures, as I know he's  probably already getting started on his next adventure up above."
