I miss you,
A few weeks ago my teacher lost her mother in-law. Our class was fooling around and she was not in a good mood. She talked about the good times she spent with her mother in-law and how she missed her. I remembered the good times me and my grandpa shared. I started crying making some of my classmates laugh but I didn't care for their devilish acts. Two of my classmates and the teacher came and helped me, I know grandpa sent them. One does not have to do anything to become a grandfather. It simply happens when your child has a child. It is up to you to decide how involved you will be in your grandchild's life. There is an inherent biological relationship but the emotional bonding between grandfather and grandchild comes only with effort. It happens when the grandchild sees that you are open to forming a relationship. It happens when you get off your easy chair and make the effort to see what matters to your grandchild. One day I will be one, I hope I make you proud.

(Marks and spencers to be precise )ONE OF THE STRANGE THING THAT STRUCK ME WAS THE FACT THAT IT WAS JUST LIKE THE SAME, AS IT WAS ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY. I WENT TO THE BIG DUMMY IPHONE AND TOUCHED IT. IT WAS QUITE A STRANGE FEELING. THIS SPACE ON THE SHOP WAS WHERE THE KEEP THE DISPLAY SOFAS AND I WAS TIRED ON THAT DAY . I SAT DOWN TO HAVE A REST AND I RECEIVED THE CALL. WHEN I WAS ON THAT AREA OF THE SHOP FLOOR IT STRUCK ME AND IT SEEMS LIKE A DE JAVUE. . MAY PAPAS SOUL REST IN PEACE..

Papa,

I miss you very dearly Dad. I can not believe that one year has passed already. Since the beginning of this month, I was very cranky and unsure what was going on. It was after I prayed to my Lord that he revealed to me that your anniversary was approaching. I began to cry when I realized that your truly gone. My Lord My God then reassured me that you are in good hands with my mother continuously advocating and interceding on my behalf. I love you Dad. I thank you for all the blessings you have showered me with while you were here and even since departing this world.

I pray to God to continue to help me make you proud. To continue to follow your foot prints and live by your example. You were my Angel and my inspiration.

I Hope I Make You Proud Dad

I hope I make you proud dad, even though you're no longer here,
Your memory grows stronger, with every passing year,

At the end it was a battle, one you weren't to win,
A fight against a demon, no choice but to give in,

I wish I could've said goodbye, that morning when you left,
Told you you were my hero, and that you were the best,

Tears I cry in secret, at night before I sleep,
Wishing you were beside me, you'd be forever here to keep,

The years don't make it easier, they said the pain would go,
It seems I've just got better, not letting my feelings show,

Wishing I could hold your hand, to shout your name aloud,
You're no longer here dad, but I hope I make you proud.

May God continue to bless you as you continue to watch over me from above.

"But we do not want you to be uninformed brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus!"

May you continue to rest in His bossom until the resurrection

Papa, we miss you so dearly on your 88th birthday. The vacuum you created can never be filled. Today was a very sad day for me, I thought that sharing memory on your page would help but that made my situation even worst. I truly wish You Were Here.

Three months have passed
I'll never forget the day
Someone rang to tell me
That you'd gone away

The hurt is the same
Like an open wound
There are days
I don't utter a sound

Some days the pain is stronger
It makes me sick and weak
I can't stand this much longer
I just sit here and weep

I've shut my private door
And let no one in
Locking myself in a box
They try, but I won't give in

You were like a rock
Strong, faithful and true
What worth has my life
Now I don't have you

I was your first Chichi
Daddy's little girl
I took my own path
But was still part of your world

I was not the best
Guilty of neglect
But you know daddy dearest
I had so much respect

I always loved you
My dad, my star
Now my pain is
To worship you from afar

I love you now
As I did back then
I just hope... one day
I will see you again

I am so proud of you
Brave and strong to the end
Now when asked "how are you?"
There is no need to pretend

We all love and miss you so much, sleep well
and take care of all who went before you especially Your Choice (my mother)

Forever in my heart

Mazi Vin Nwankwu (Nna Anyi bi n'ama Udo) was a courageous man who was not afraid to speak his mind. I recall the many conversations I had with him over several issues in Arondizuogu and Nigerian politics. His analytical ability and outspokenness made me always want to start a conversation with him. Anytime I went home, I would always make sure to engage him in a discussion. This aspect of him will be missed.

"Say to the righteous it shall be well"
~ Isaiah 3:10

Children of Zion it is well, Mazi Okpa Madu, my Chairman, Nna-Anyi bi n'Ama-Udo, has ran his race and triumphed; he touched me and many lives, families; he sustained relationships, challenged work, peace, progress, truth, and made connections to community.

My Chairman, thank you; Mazi Okpa Madu for all your challenging work in life, you touched my life at a very tender age and beyond and your peculiar voice, sincere smiles and laughs, counsels and directional mentoring will be missed. You are an awesome, patient father and statesman. I really loved and appreciated you and the life you led, Mazi thank you and Adieu until we meett again.

My prayers are that you win that promised crown of the glory of Heaven and rest in the bosom of the Prince Of Peace, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; until that resurrection day when all believers will meet again.
Thank you, and Lord grant him eternal peace ~Amen.

'Word Of Life For The Living'

"A good reputation is more valuable than costly perfume.
And the day you die is better than the day you are born.
Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties.
After all, everyone dies~ so the living should take this to hearts.
Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us.

A wise person thinks a lot about death while
A fool thinks only about having a good time.
Better to be criticized by a wise person
Than to be praised by a fool.
A fool's laughter is quickly gone,
Llike thorns crackling in a fire.
~ This is also meaningless."
~ ECCLESIASTES 7:1-6
