How can I forget this woman of substance in haste.
Despite sharing same birth month, cos I am of 10th August, while she was 11th, still, this woman would send my birthday gift, which may be cloths, perfumes or any other valuable gift items.
Who will not miss Sisi?
In fact, I'm sure that paradise has gained an important personality, the very day she arrived that domain, while we lost an irretrievable jewel of inestimable value, the day she departed.
Sisi, may your soul continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord.
HAPPY POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY, our treasurable lost soul.
FOREVER, we shall miss you.

Tribute to Sisi

May 12, 2020
Sisi as she was fondly called by everyone was a person with a large heart and very accommodating. This is a virtue she inherited from mama(her grandma) and also from mummy (her mother). She lived in peace with all and sundry. She was always ready to suffer wrong for peace to reign. The first thing anyone would notice anytime you meet her was her smile. Full of life, a cheerful giver, wonderful to be with. She was God fearing and served Him till the end. Indeed I will miss you. Goodnight my own dear Saisai.

Losing a mother is an irreplaceable loss especially a great mother who raised Mr Afolabi. We felt your motherly roles, diligence, strength, hardworking, simplicity and caring heart through your son. Your lifetime and testimonies would be continually cherished and your love for the things of God. I hope that our Lord brings your family the much-needed peace during this sad time. Adieu, dear mama.

Sisi the life of the party.

May 9, 2020
Sisi as she was fondly called by all was the real definition of a Beautiful Soul, I had the opportunity of meeting her first in Benin sometime in April 2019, at her late husband's, Inaugural Memorial Lecture in celebration of his 30th Memorial Anniversary and 98th Year Posthumous Birthday.

My encounter with Sisi lasted just over a year, but in that period I had the privilege to meet her physically over 7 different times and on different occasions, and I make bold to say excluding her constant prayers and warm hugs not one encounter was ever the same, Sisi was full of life and love, she was very welcoming and you could tell she just had a very happy spirit.

I have very fond memories of our trip to the Benin museum, those of us fortunate to have been on that trip would understand what I write of, Sisi was the life of that trip, climbing multiple steps even at her age and being so active. She showed great interest in the different artifacts on display constantly engaging us all and telling her own side of history she remembered whilst making us all laugh multiple times, Sisi was just a happy soul and had absolutely no worries at all in this life.

I also remember meeting her a few more times, and on one occasion in Lagos I met her strategizing on how to distribute money and food items to her church and the needy and this was a task she handled personally as i later learnt she came down to make sure the distribution was properly done, Sisi was kind and never left you without a warm hug and smile with tons of prayers and blessings and this I would miss the most.

To the entire family, I send my deepest condolences, especially to Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede who carried Sisi like an egg, showed great love and care for Sisi and is a shining light and example on how we should all treat and care for our parents and loved ones, this care and love I am sure Sisi was eternally grateful for and her prayers and blessings will forever remain with you.

As painful as this is and mourn her we must!!, let us all take solace in celebrating and remembering the great life she lived and all of us she impacted on in one way or another, Sisi lived a Full life and has left us with amazing stories to tell and memories to remember her by.

Eternal Rest grant unto her o lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.

A Virtuous Woman turned Mother to all.

Though I didn’t meet her in person, but there is a saying where am from “by there fruits we shall know them”, I didn’t really need to meet her in person to know her,her fruits are evident in how well the BTF team members talk about her and how our Boss speaks about her, which show how lovely she was, diligent, faithful in her service to humanity, fun to be with and more,so sure we will all miss you Ma.till we meet again,Rest on Ma
