It is hard to believe you are gone, “aunty Lara”, as I often called you.
May your sweet and gentle, loving soul, rest in perfect peace.
You exemplified what it meant to be a follower of Jesus, through your humility, kindness, gentleness, love and so much more.
You left a rich and wonderful legacy for all who knew you and we are comforted to know your labor was not in vain and “to be absent in the body, is to be present with the Lord.”
We all prayed for physical healing on this part of eternity, but abba Father, who is all knowing and makes no mistake, gave you the ultimate healing by calling you home, so we say, even with hearts broken, “Thank you Lord,” death does not not have the final say, “death has been swallowed up in victory”, and we shall meet again, never to be separated through all of eternity.
We find peace and comfort, knowing we are not home yet, but you are finally home and we will continue to love and serve your Jesus, our Jesus, until we meet at the feet of Jesus❤️
