My grandpa was a kind and generous man. He was everybody's best friend, a great granddad and a mentor. He told me stories of his adventures and his interest in reading different types of books. I remember the early winter mornings when grandpa will wake me up to get ready for school, dress me warm and walk me and my sister to school. I shall never get a chance to have grandpa walk me to school again but memories of the good times we spent together will never fade.

When I heard that my grandpa was sick and needed medical care, I was deeply worried. I prayed every night begging God to help the doctors in Cameroon cure my grandpa.

When I heard that grandpa had passed away my heart shattered but my dad, mom, grandma and brother told me he had gone through a lot of pain and suffering. It was difficult but I know grandpa is in a better place.


We will all miss you grandpa and we will forever have you in our hearts and memories.
