So many things remind me of Patsy because she was a great influence on me.
Especially music. I LOVE that she introduced me to music from BOTH The Gap Band *and* AC/DC. She loved such a range of music. We were always jammin to something with Tia, and thinking of her dancing puts a smile on my face. Steph and I often joke that Patsy even had to put a little dance move into steering her car!
A major thanks I have always given to Tia is for bringing me to her former job (with Cal State) when I was a kid. It really inspired me to learn computer programming in the 80s, which helped me greatly with college and my career.
Anything to do with cats will always remind me of Tia. Steph and I never had a cat at home, so Patsy's cat "J.J." was pretty much our first cat. We are fortunate to have grown up with great animals lovers like our mother and father, Tia Patsy, and Tio Eddie.
Of course, every time I visit or pass through Vegas or Stateline, I think of Patsy. :) I remember one trip with her when I was 17 and I won about $300 on 25 cent video poker and no one stopped me on the way out. And, when I turned 21 during college, Patsy took me and my best friend to Vegas to celebrate.
