Dear "Boss",
Thank you for helping create me & help mold me into a strong, tough, innovator, scientist, doctor, & so much more. In retrospect, I may have never achieved what I had without letting me fend for myself at all ages. As a child & teen, I was given no "handouts" by you, but I took that as a challenge to overcome. At 12 years old, I worked feverishly selling Burbee's Seeds door to door to earn zillions of stamps. Eventually, I have enough stamps to earn my first bike which I then treasured for years. It was a Schwinn 3 Speed Bike that I used to get almost anywhere in Brooklyn, & even went to Mahattan with it. I explored many a city park with it, to find new handball courts to challenge all in Paddleball & Racquetball games.
As I aged, I went on to accomplish the "impossible" despite my back ground.

I also thank you for realizing decades latter as you once sat there literally crying to forgive you for being a "terrible" father. I did partially forgive you at that point, but it is not until now that you are gone, that I should have went further.

Regardless of all, I do love you. Furthermore, both Linda , your loving daughter-in-law, & I, the "Number One Son", both miss you as I write this with tears in my eyes. Please forgive me for not being closer before. I am so sorry.

Love,
Your Son,
Paul Jr.
