Biography

Rev. (Dr.) Abraham Hungbeme was born on January 1, 1939 to the family of Pa. Gbedoponu Hungbeme and Madam ZansiTanimowo of Bokovi compound, Yekeme, Badagry, Lagos State. He had his primary education at Methodist Primary School, Enuko, Badagry (1947 – 1953). He proceeded to Methodist Secondary Modern School (1953 – 1956). He also obtained GCE London via a correspondence course (1957 – 1960). He worked at The Flour Mills and Lagos Cement Works both in Apapa, Lagos State. Other places he also worked include:
  1. Niger Motors Ltd (1960 – 1964)
  2. Lagos State Ministry of Education from 1964 where he voluntarily retired from in 1990.
He was married to his beautiful wife Catherine Hungbeme and they are blessed with seven lovely children.
Spiritual Progress
He gave his life to Christ on February 14, 1974 during a Foursquare crusade, baptised by immersion at Foursquare Camp, Ajebo on August 19, 1974 and was baptised with the Holy Ghost the same year at the Foursquare Camp, Ajebo. His spiritual growth was very rapid and God used him mightily. He  graduated from LIFE Theological Seminary, Ikorodu in 1989. He has three other diplomas in Theology & Missions.

  6. Head of Evangelism, Foursquare Gospel Church, Igbogbo 1987 – 1990
  7. One of the first Deacons ordained by Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria 1989

  9. Vice Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Igbogbo 1990 – 1994

He travelled to the United Kingdom in 2007 and ministered in various places including New Park Road Baptist Church, London. He also visited Israel in 2012.

He caught the vision of his ministry at Foursquare Camp, Ajebo July 29, 1995 and founded Cornerstone Gospel Missions, Int’l on January 28, 1998 with branches in Nigeria and abroad. He is a man of uncommon anointing with signs and wonders following his ministry. Below are some of the great miracles God did through him:
  1. A boy was raised from the dead
  2. A matron gave birth to a dead snake
  3. The lame worked
  4. A lunatic boy regained his sanity
  5. Various barren women conceived and gave birth to their children
He was both a man sought after and a man of proven integrity.
