I was fortunate to be in the OLLI/UNR Reading Poetry group with Bob these last years. He was our leader, organizing, selecting and managing the whole process. It was a labor of love for him, and he kept hundreds and hundreds of poems on file for us, and knew every one of them. I also was fortunate to act with him in a play at Reno’s wonderful Ageless Repertory Theatre. He was having balance problems at the time, but soldiered on, as was his nature. It was such a pleasure to act with him, so professional, and knowing everyone’s lines as well as he knew his own. There are those who make an impression upon us as we go through life, and Bob was definitely one who did. His memorable voice still resonates with me as I remember his poetry readings and theater renditions. Bob lived his life as poetry, bringing love, warmth and compassion to all he did and all those he touched. Such a fine and blessed life you have had with him Terry, and may you be surrounded with the warmth of his memory in all the years to come.
