The shock of Segun's death is a hard reminder of mortality but also brings out the lesson of his well lived life, that to leave this place a bit better than you found it is perhaps the greatest epitaph.

‘If I could sum Segun up in one word, it would be grace. He was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, unstinting in the amount of time he rendered . He had a deep and insightful
appreciation of the calmness as a colleague. In all the years I knew Segun,he was full of life, ready to help and always asked how I was doing. I will miss him.

Words fail me....but like Ifeoluwa Aderonmu said “Heaven was needing a Hero....someone just like you”....relieves me to know you’re in a safe place....continue to rest Segun...you’re forever missed! ❤️

There's really so much to admire about you Segun, apart from being a truly talented tutor you were always really cheerful and happy.

I don't know what comes after this, but I wish that you rest peacefully knowing that even though  young, you left a lasting legacy and passion in our hearts.

When I heard the news, it was unclear to me:

I just didn't understand any of it
I kept asking "Why, why, why?"

Segun was one of my best facilitators in Edubridge .... He was so smart and intelligent...His PowerPoint slides was another level entirely.....He always wore a smile......he had that alluring personality which attracted people to him.

Four weekends

Four weekends of Ms. PowerPoint classes. That's how long I knew Segun for, yet I feel as though I knew him longer.

I never had a one on one conversation with him but I respect him a lot. A great and lively teacher. I had little/no interest in MS Powerpoint but when he started teaching us, I just had no choice than to learn it because he made me develop interest in it. Rest in peace Segun Afolabi.
