The Boyer family would like to send our sympathies, thoughts and prayers to all of Swede's family and friends. I'm sure that Swede is having a grand reunion with my father (Bruce), mother (Marge), my grandparents, Aunt Kay, Uncle Barry and Uncle Brian. Swede was so much more than an employee, he was a friend that we considered family. Almost every Memorial Day for the past 20 years, Swede would meet us at the cemetery and than come to our home for a cookout. If not, he always left a vase of flowers at the Boyer family plot. I called Swede in the beginning of the pandemic to make sure he was o.k. and to see if he needed any help; he said that Gary and his wife were taking good care of him; that was the last I talked to him. Lately, there is one memory of Swede that I keep thinking about; in 1976 or 1977 on my way to work, I was pulled over by the police for speeding and taken to jail. I made my one call to my dad and expected he would be coming to bail me out. I was surprised to see Swede when I emerged. Swede was my dad's left-hand-man! We will miss him.
