To the McDonald Family: My deepest sympathy is extended to you. Your Susan Elizabeth was a substitute teacher (I recall as a student in the late 1960s to early 1970s) who was stern as required but also showed an uncommon warmth and understanding unlike the older generation of school teachers.

We were both saddened to hear of Sue's passing. We both stopped and reflected on our many remembrances of her. The last ten years have been such a struggle and we commend and praise her, you and your family's courage and endurance. All we can pray is that she is now at peace.

Dear Uncle Ken, Bobby, Steve, Brenda and Gina - I am so sorry for your loss and have been sending prayers your way. I did not get the chance to get to know Sue but a few years back was out west on business and had the great pleasure of a good long call with Ken and breakfast with Bob. She obviously was a tremendous mother as her kids are great. I will say this - when ever i am complaining about something stupid and silly - I think about her and stop immediately.
