Susan Rae Rogers, 56, passed away in
Fort Myers Florida on Thursday, April 1st, 2021, after a brief illness.
Susan was born in Newton, IA to parents Judith (Pierce) and Dennis Elliott on the fourth of July. Susan loved celebrating her birthday every year and was a firecracker! Susan enjoyed her career as an accounting specialist at Kent State University. Susan loved spending time with her family and friends, and you could often find her in the backyard around her pool with her husband Jeff. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren. She had a passion for people, reading, music, and knew how to spread joy and laughter with anyone she met.
Susan is survived by her husband Jeff Rogers, her children, Erik (Sara) Davis, Nicole (Benjamin) Mathie, stepson Justin Davis, and Missy (Craig) Herndon. She leaves her beloved grandchildren, Aisley Herndon, Mackenzie Herndon, Trey Follen, Brielle Davis, and Tristan Herndon. Susan is also survived by her siblings Rick and Nancy Elliott, nephew Daniel Crago, nieces Morgan Elliott, Caitlin Elliott, Jessica Davis, and Raelyn Davis.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and her first husband Ralph Davis.
Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at Ravenna Elks Lodge, 776 North Freedom St., Ravenna from 2:00PM until 4:00PM.
