Devoted Wife and Mother, avid traveler and lover of life, Suzanne
(Mitzi) McCrory passed away on June 8, 2021, of natural causes in Santa
Monica, CA. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Lacrosse,
Wisconsin on October 4, 1933. Mitzi met her husband Jack at the
University of Wisconsin and they subsequently married in Germany, where
he was stationed during his service. Upon returning to the states, Jack
settled into his Law career, while Mitzi devoted herself to raising 5
children. Eventually, as the demands of family waned, they were once
again able to pursue their passion for travel and exploration.
Among
her many activities and loves in Santa Monica were taking classes at
Emeritus, volunteering at the Library, staying active with Yoga, outdoor
walks, and thrifting (see above). She also enjoyed the Art, Theatre and
Architecture that LA has to offer.
Mitzi is predeceased by her
husband John (Jack) McCrory. She is survived by her children Kelley,
Lisa, John, Poppy, and Mike, and 9 grandchildren.
