Her Life

Sydney's book & a story of her childhood (in Los Vegas I think?)

January 18, 2022
Sydney did so many things, including publishing a book. "Rants & Raves of My Mind." It's mostly fiction, but the story "The Adults Are Crazy" is autobiographical & about a time after she left Australia and before we became sisters. The story of her friend Larry, and living in a Black neighborhood where she learned to "jive" or walk with pride -- before the adults & racism ruined her friendships - was an important story to her that she told me again in the last month before she died.

"Sydney Silver delivers stream of consciousness short stories of her fantasies, dreams, and real events in her life. With no regard to capitalization, grammer, and more, she lays items down on paper as they flow, directly from her mind. This was done partly out of disregard for rules which are constraining to her art and self, and in order to give the piece a "feel." Will anyone read it? Maybe. Maybe not. Would that bother the author? No, because Naught is Naught. Should you read it? No, probably not."

Sydney Survives Nugent... & More.

January 22, 2022
Sydney was on the first season of the "Surviving Nugent" reality show. One time when I was in a friend's house, they happened to have it playing in the background and it was really fun to be surprised by seeing my sister on TV (VH1). The premise of the show is basically that Ted Nugent tortures his guests in various ways, with Sydney's group he woke them up in the middle of the night and sprayed them with water & especially loved torturing the vegan animal lover by killing a chicken.

Sydney didn't "win" the show, and he loved showing her passion & upset at the way he was treating the animals and people (especially women) on the show. She didn't leave it there though. Once she was off the show as a contestant, she took over the chat board that went with it. People could chat on a website, and she enjoyed debating veganism with the shows fans - many of whom were hunters and gun enthusiasts and otherwise people who might be the last people you'd picture as vegan.

She delighted in engaging with them and was proud that she'd gotten some Libertarians to go vegan. She didn't just "survive" Nugent, she took over.

...not sure if it's related, but today Ted Nunget's son is, you guessed it... vegan. I remember a shot of them eating breakfast together - Sydney, the whole Nugent family including his kids, and the other contestants. I wish I could ask her what she remembers of that meal, Rocco, and what she thinks about Nugent's son becoming vegan.

Sydney Fights Cancer - 2021

January 14, 2022
Sydney was misdiagnosed when she found her first tumor. She was told it could not become cancer. In 2021 she was correctly diagnosed with breast cancer, but it was stage 4 by the time she knew.

Sydney was really afraid, of cancer but also of harsh treatments. She was very private about her diagnosis, even with people close to her. She felt that American/Western medicine wrote her off, and turned her hopeful and curious mind to researching treatments. She used natural remedies and in the fall she found Immunity Therapy Center where she began intense treatment that mixed low dose chemo, new treatments, and traditional/plant medicine.

At Immunity Therapy Center Sydney was surrounded with love and care from everyone. The clinic driver, housekeeper, security, nurses, Dr's and all staff worked hard for her but also loved getting to know her and gave her love, hope and laughter.

The Immunity Therapy Center patients and their families are a very special group. They come from all over and lots of different backgrounds and beliefs, but care for each other and give each other hope as though each one is family.

It was touching to see how everyone took care of each other, especially Sydney. She was called "Sunshine" when she entered a room, friends would stroke her hair - something that gave her pleasure when she mostly felt pain, neighbors would look in on her, and she also received several generous monetary gifts that allowed her to continue her treatment (at a moment when she was waiting for her home's sale to go through). While Sydney's cancer was too far gone for Immunity Therapy Center to cure her, being there meant that she was surrounded by gifts of love and kindness, and it gave her more time with loved ones.

The song on YouTube is one that Sydney made herself, and she told a friend that it was what she felt like when she was going through the hell of cancer.

Sydney's Thoughts About Death - Feb 16, 2014

January 14, 2022
Is the Earth Heaven?

We notice how the cat gets bored of the balloon after it is not new. That is what eternal heaven may be like, and why I believe this (life) MAY be heaven (a part of heaven or an extension of it).

We live in a physics dimension right now which has definite restrictions and laws. After we leave the physical dimension yes, I think we may enter a dimension where we can have whatever we want, which might even be to return to the physical dimension and live again. Eternity is a long time I am sure I’d want to play in many different lives where I believe in endings and forget eternity.

That would be my heaven (here) if I was bored with eternity and being all powerful and having many less emotions than we have in life.

Because it is the limitations we face which create so many of our emotions and dynamic experiences such as excitement, pride, and more, as I explain in the sermon video.

To an eternal being, life may be heaven.  How can u have everything In heaven if u have no limitations or suffering? With no limitations u have nothing new and no excitement. So that means there is no excitement in heaven?

Which means this is heaven, where we live now. Or a part of it. The part where we can have more things, such as excitement. I hope that made sense.

Here is an example of a limitation, which many new agers and "the secret" promoters ignore.

I tried for hours and hours and weeks on end to fly as a child, jumping off a wall. I believed I could do it. But it didn't happen. Not everything is possible in a dimension of limitations.

You likely will not understand me because you come from a mind and world of limitations. You would have to expand your mind to truly try to understand what it would be like to have no limitations. Any one in limitations or poverty, if you ask them "what would you do with no limitations" they will likely say "I would have anything I want" but someone who is rich and unlimited, would likely say "I would like some limitations, because nothing is a thrill anymore, that's why I hire dominatrixes" lol

Now likewise, the earth may be hell. We have a distinct duality here, which is the suffering we and others have. But hell would not be bad if it is creating the good, and in fact the bible says everything is good (look up quote on church site)

Tasting hell may be our way to experience heaven.
