Job 1:21
February 11, 2023
The Bible gives us a story in the Book of Job. Job 1:18 Job was a man who feared God and was upright and blameless in the sight of God. Yet Job experienced misfortune and tragedies all in one day. These were the words of Job after losing everything that was dear and precious to him. "Naked I came from my mother's womb. And naked shall I return. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away: Blessed be the name of the Lord"
The loss of a loved one is never an easy thing to deal with. But the bible gives us an example of Job and how the devil plotted and planned all of this heartbreak and sorrow in Job's life and God gave him permission to. In everything that happened in Jobs' life, Job never blamed or cursed God. He took the good with the bad and had an attitude of humility and reverence for the life that God had given him.
Job was unmovable and unshakeable in his faith and in his suffering.
The Bible tells us that one day Job's wife walked off and left him and his children were all killed suddenly when a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house and it fell on all of his children and they all died.
The Bible says that Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head and fell to the ground, and worshipped. Loved Ones that is what we should be doing. Worshipping God. Why? Because God knows everything and nothing is hidden from God.
God has the blueprint for our lives and He has already seen it all. From beginning to end. Nothing surprises God and out of His love for us he saves and rescues us.
'Do not allow yourselves to be consumed with grief. All of our days are numbered. We don't minimize the pain. But we do not allow ourselves to be overcome with grief and sorrow. No matter how hard we grieve. Tamara is not coming back. And she wouldn't even if she could!! We rejoice because Tamara made it into her heavenly home!! Now we strive to get our work done. To finish our course. To fulfill our destiny.
Tamara accomplished much in this life. But her greatest accomplishment in this life was to finish her destiny and to make it into her heavenly home. No wonder she was always in a hurry. I believe she knew in her heart that her time on earth was drawing nigh.
I do believe that she had a revelation of making it into heaven.
One of the last conversations I had with her while she was in the hospital was.........
*Mom thank you and Jarvis for praying for me and being a strength to me, It feels like
God is right here in the bed with me. What a beautiful testimony! I pray that family can grasp the revelation of (everything) is in God's Hands. Not ours....
(Tamara was in His hands)... And nobody could hurt her or pluck her out.
Job 14: 5 Since his days are determined and the number of his months is with you, and since You have set limits that he cannot exceed. That exceed means go beyond.
So family we cannot go beyond the time we are given here.
Ecclesiastes 1: 3
To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die,, a time to plant and a time to uproot .
Our beloved Tamara is at rest and peace. Let us understand our purpose and destiny and live out the reason that God placed us on the earth. Let us fulfill our mission and calling. Tamara came for a reason and I'm so glad she was a part of our lives. Now we must release her. Not her memory but the grief and the pain of losing her and remember her life with JOY and not with sorrow. Let us rejoice and be thankful for the yrs that God gave her to us.
Amen
