Dear Wayne and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you, Miles and the rest of your family and extended family. May God continue to bless and keep you. Tammie will be missed, but never forgotten. God had other plans for her and called her home to be with him.
Peace be with you :-)

Wayne, I wish there were words that could comfort you in your loss. Although I met Tammie only a few times, I know that she was a very special person. I pray that God will comfort you, your son and all of Tammie's loved ones now and in the difficult days ahead. God bless you, Laura

Dear Brother Wayne and Family:

I extend my deepest heartfelt condolences and prayers for lasting strength. I only met Tammie and Myles but once in person and am very grateful for that. I have read the obituary and memorial shared with me and will add those to enrich my memory of Tammie while looking to you and Myles to learn more as time passes.

Sincerely,

Eddie Tunstel

Wayne, what a lovely site you created for Tammie. We've only met briefly in Tammie's hospital room, but I am so grateful to have met you and to have had Tammie in my life if only for a short time. I send you and Myles much love and wish you peace in this time.

Dear Wayne, I am so very sorry to hear of Tammie's passing. We only met once at the Mimslyn weekend -- she was so lovely, and such a great mom. My heart goes out to you and Myles and your families. I will keep you in prayer. In deepest sympathy, Karen Brown

Wayne, Myles and the rest of the family.Tammie was a wonderful young lady and it was a blessing to have known her. I was saddened to hear of her passing. She will surely be missed.
One of my fond memories of Tammie was the two of us driving to New York together to be on "The View" what a FUN day that was.
Peace & God Bless

Simon!

We ALL MISS YOU SO MUCH!

My heart ❤️ is heavy but joyous in all the memories I have of you and all that we did and shared as best friends and sisters.

I think of you everyday. There are times I start to call you and realize I can't so I just talk silently to myself knowing that you can hear me.

Although I have moved away, I promise to always be there for Wayne and Myles!

PRAISE GOD for allowing us to be a part of your life and for you touching ours!

❤️

Note to self: Don't play cards with Tammie :)

February 13, 2011

I had the privilege of meeting Tammie just once, I played a card game called Cheat (AKA BS) with her and some others.  She was sooooo good at this game that she just learned about!  When it was over, Tammie had cards under her chair, in her shirt, just everywhere. She said "I'm glad this game is over cos I have had to go to the bathroom for a while".  When she stood up, cards fell out of her jeans! Really cool girl.

Tammie's ability to talk you into anything

February 5, 2011

There was a happy hour at a new bar opening.  I get there early, and I see these sumo wrestling padded outfits.  I said "I don't care how drunk I get, I'm not putting one of those things on.  I am content in my thoughts.  Tammie comes breezing in and right away she tells me, "Brenda, you've got to do this."  "Oh no, Tammie, not me.  "Well, Brenda, she says, you've never done it before. You've got to try it." "No Tammie, I'm not doing it"  After about 5 more minutes of her talking, I'm crawling into one of those sweaty Sumo outfits, waiting for an opponent.  Tammie, my biggest cheerleader convincing me this is a fabulous idea.  Well, I got an opponent, Tom Stromer, a little guy.  Tammie's going "you can take him, he's little."  I'm pumped.  I didn't take him, and suffered a slight concussion as a result. Tammie helped up up, and helped me out of the outfit.  I was only mad at her for a minute, because the subject was changed to the next ridiculous antic that I could attempt.

It was such a privilege to have known Tammie. She was so down to earth, funny and kind. We had many fun times together during playdates with our mom's group. (Some of the playdates were without the babies at a local pub on a Friday night :) ). This picture was taken during our little ones' first birthday party, and I love the way Tammie and Myles look so happy. I will always remember the fun Myles and his mommy had together. What a great mom she was!
