Merry Christmas, Dad. This is the first Christmas without you, and I'm so depressed, missing you so much. Thanksgiving I was depressed as Mom had passed around that time, and it's a sore spot holiday for me. Mom, I miss you so much as well.  Please ask God to give me comfort during this holiday season.

So, Merry Christmas to both of you. I love you always

'Til we meet again...

I love and miss you so much. It hasn't even been 4 months yet, but it seems like an eternity. I still watch for your caller ID to come up when my phone rings. I still want to call you and talk to you. It's coming up on football season. How am I going to get through you not calling me and asking me which channel the football game is on (Steelers or Penn State)? I'm going to miss calling you and saying, "Do you have the game on"? I'm gonna miss you saying, "that dumb ass. Did you see that play"? I just miss you so much. I'm so lonely. I love you. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN <3

I don't know who wrote this, but I wanted to share on your page, Daddy. Man, it's been almost a month since you left, how can that be? I love and miss you and Mom!

WHEN TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME

When tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand,
That an Angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand.

The Angel said my place was ready,
In Heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But when I walked through Heaven's Gates,
I felt so much at home,
for God looked down, smiled at me,
And told me "Welcome Home".

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there in your heart.

My favorite story is letting dad drive my Dodge pick up, (with a Hemi motor). I knew dad loved my truck.. He had Dodge pick up in his younger days. One day, dad and I was going to go to church. I decided to let my dad drive my truck. We backed out of the driveway, dad said "ready Bon, I said yep. Down the road we went, screaming tires, fish tailing down the road. Got to Air Hill straight stretch and dad decided to peg that truck the whole way to the light. Left turn, fish tailing and smoking the tires. Dad did NOT drive the truck back home.

Dad, I love and miss you so much already. I can't believe that I spoke with you a few days before. I will always cherish those final words you said specifically to me. When I kissed you and said, "I love you Daddy" and you said, "I love you too, Barb". Those are forever etched in my mind.
Take good care of yourself and Mom in Heaven. Until we meet again.... <3
