Bill and I met a few years ago along with a group of friends at the Mendel class of 84, new bi-level held at Raven's Place. The parties were epic and production was expanding to other venues, he was a big part. In our conversations, we discovered that our connection actually spanned over 30 years, he at Morehouse College and me at Spelman College. I will never forget his acceptance of me as a friend but even more as a sister.

Bill and I graduated from Mendel together but went to different universities. I remember coming back home from SIU over 30 years ago and getting together regularly at Bill's spot with other Monarchs to either go out on the town or to just sit and reminisce. In more recent years, I would get together with Bill to hit the Monarchs' reunion picnics where we enjoyed many laughs together reflecting back on when we were younger and all the years of fun and great memories!
Thank you for your friendship. Rest in power my brother. You will most certainly be missed.

My dear friend words cannot describe the sadness in my heart. I’m really going to miss you brotha. The tears that fill my eyes every time I think of the memories and times we’ve shared is overwhelming. RIP my brotha. Luv you.
