More than a man, you were my grandpa. The man in the blue overalls & white v-neck shirt always working hard. Planting in the yard, building, or donating your time to the convent. You gave me a love for Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, jumbles & crosswords. You taught me a love for reading & giving back! I was so blessed to spend time with you growing up. I will love & miss you always! ~Pebbles

I have always loved my father. We were not very close but before he had passed away, I had a chance to be able to sit together with him without anyone being there. It was so special to me. God had given me a gift by doing this. I loved him even more.

Dad, I was so lucky to have you live with me your final months. I miss getting up and having coffee with you and planning our day. You were such a trouper! We had lots of doctor and lab appointments and I know it wasn't easy getting around but we had the "pretty doctor" that you liked so much. I love you Dad and I know you'll always be with me.

“Sweet William” as Mona always called you, you were a man of few words, but the words you spoke were always from your heart. Your kind and gentle manner will always remain with us in our hearts and never be forgotten. I will always treasure the moments spent with you.
Thanks, Love Lill

Dad, There were so many things I should have have said aloud, but I believe we both knew each other's hearts. I have no regrets and will remember you fondly with love and respect.. I'll think of the good times. Thank you for showing me your most gentle side before you left my life when you let me rub your feet. He smiled and said, "that feels good". He smiled and so did I. I love You.

Grandpa, I remember the day I heard that you had passed on. I was on my way to work on my truck. I had to stop, so I pulled over in Hayward at Don Julio Park. There I mourned the loss of a good & kind man and that was when- as if I could hear your voice- you said, "Fred, what the hell're you doing crying when there's work to be done!" So I dried my tears left the park and went to work.

Damian, your tribute made me cry... It was like I could him hear say that to you, thanks so much for sharing that. Grandpa you will be missed greatly and I am glad your last months that Myles could bring you joy with his rambunctious little personality. And yes, we always have Trixie here to remind us of you (aka Dixie.) Your memory lives on within us and all of our fond memories...
